My practice is driven by a fascination for language and how it takes place in more areas than just "text”. I connect language with landscapes by approaching them as linguistic spaces of meaning. Find me at the Nieuw & Meer, cycling through Amsterdam, or exploring Friesland. I studied Dutch Literature at the University of Amsterdam (2016) and Image & Language at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie (2020). I was part of Slow Writing Lab from the Dutch Foundation for Literature (2021). In 2023, I received support from the Mondriaan Fund with the Artist Start grant. Occasionally I write for MetropolisM, Hard/Hoofd.

I am affiliated with Woonhuis De Ateliers, Kate at Nieuw & Meer and Bradwolff Projects in Amsterdam, De Grote Poëzieprijs by Het Veerhuis in Rotterdam. On Saturdays I work at the Noordermarkt
From 2012 to 2014, I was the city poet of Smallingerland, Friesland.
